09.03.24 - 09.28.24

ArtHaus, a new contemporary art platform, is thrilled to announce emerging movement, their inaugural exhibition. The exhibition, co-curated by the ArtHaus team and The Trops, showcases the innovative work of contemporary artists pushing the boundaries of modern art. The exhibition will open with a reception on Friday, September 6, 2024 from 7-11pm as part of Tribeca Night during the upcoming Armory Arts Week 2024, and will close on Saturday, September 28th, 2024.

emerging movement brings together a diverse group of artists whose works represent the cutting edge of contemporary art. Each artist presents a unique perspective, using a variety of mediums including painting, sculpture, digital art, and mixed media to explore themes of identity, culture, and the human experience. This exhibition aims to highlight the evolving trends and experimental techniques that are shaping the future of art.

Highlighting the dynamic interplay between fresh, innovative voices and the profound, studied expressions of seasoned artists, the exhibition creates a stage for emerging talents to present their work alongside industry veterans, setting the stage for a rich, nuanced dialogue between different artistic generations and practices, at very different stages of their career.

Visitors will experience a tapestry of styles and narratives, each piece contributing to a collective exploration of movement in its many forms – physical, emotional, and conceptual. There will be performances throughout the evening by artists adultchildren, Isaiah Barr + friends and Melvin “GRAVE” Guzman.
